MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE


The kids really love this one.


3 lbs of genuine high grade Mississippi Mud (just kidding) 2 sticks (or 1 cup) of Butter or Soft Margarine 1/3 Cup Cocoa 2 Cups Sugar 4 Eggs, will beaten 1 1/2 Cups sifted all purpose Flour 1 Pinch Salt 1 Cup chopped Pecans or Walnuts 2 Cups miniature Marshmallows

Melt together butter and cocoa. Cool. Cream well beaten eggs and sugar. Add cocoa mixture. Beat in flour and salt. Pour into greased 13X9 pan. Sprinkle nut pieces on top. Bake at 350 deg. 30-35 min or until done. Remove from oven. Cover cake with miniature marshmallows Bake until marshmallows melt. Remove from oven and cool

FROSTING



1 stick cup butter or margarine 1/3 cup cocoa cup milk 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla

Melt butter and cocoa together. Remove from heat. Add milk, sugar and vanilla. Beat Well. Spread over marshmallows
